The meaning of Anzac has been part of really. I used to collect my Dad at around 5-30am on the dot and get to the Dawn Service in slick time to get a good position. After that he would go off to the RSL with some of his Army mates and have a beer or two ... or three !

I remember he was usually well primed when I would collect him later in the day.

I started photographing ANZAC around that time and often provide images to people if they want them.

Above, is my Grand Father who fought in Somme in WW1. My Father who fought in New Guinea and my Son who had five tours in his ten years in the Army. The last being in Afganistan.
